Nuseed Enters Canadian Market With First Registered Canola Hybrid

Nuseed, a leading developer and supplier of canola products in Australia, has entered the Canadian market, and has partnered with Federated Cooperatives Ltd. for the introduction of its first canola hybrid (NC355TF) in the country. This is the first hybrid resulting from six years of work through Nuseed’s Canadian canola R&D field program, which focuses on the development of crop varieties best suited for cultivation under Canadian conditions.

This inaugural Nuseed canola hybrid registered in Canada includes the TruFlex with RoundUp Ready technology, providing growers in Western Canada with herbicide-tolerant weed control. It also provides high yield potential, medium maturity, and strong blackleg tolerance - a condition widely battled in Canada.
