Plant-Based Ingredient Supplier Bay State Milling Opens New Elevator in Arizona

Plant-based ingredient supplier Bay State Milling announced it is opening a new elevator at its flour mill in Tolleson, Arizona.

The construction of the elevator follows Bay State Milling forging agreements with Arista Cereal Technologies and Arcadia Biosciences for it to become the exclusive commercial supplier of high fiber wheat flour in North America under the HealthSense™ brand name.

The addition of the elevator will help Bay State in developing an infrastructure network for specialty milling at scale, and will enhance its ability to manage commercial scale, complex, identity-preserved supply chains for novel, functional ingredients.

Construction of the elevator is expected to be completed by the 2020 wheat harvest, and once operating, will have a storage capacity of one million bushels.
