Scoular is Growing its Organic Grain Assets

North American organic grain, feed ingredient, and food ingredient merchant Scoular is expanding its portfolio of organic grain assets. The company recently secured organic certification for its facilities in Hershey, Nebraska, and Goodland, Kansas, and has entered into an agreement with Wyoming-based Jessen Wheat Company to handle organic grain.

Founded 127 years ago, and with 120 global offices and facilities, Scoular said that over the past five years the company has seen growth in organic grain handling that is double the pace of the industry growth rate. It has been certified organic since 1995, and since that time, has worked to offer local farmers access to a nationwide organic network and supply chain. Today, the company is posting sales of more than $4 billion.
