ADM Opens New, Modernized Mill in Enid, Oklahoma

Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) has opened a new, modernized flour mill in Enid, Oklahoma.

Under the project, the company conducted a complete retrofit of its existing mills on site, which were built in 1928. ADM replaced the two mills in Enid with a single, highly-automated facility which will increase ADM’s capacity to meet customer demand in the region, and which will include a high-speed packer in the first quarter of next year.

ADM Milling controls multiple mills across the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Central America, and the UK. Combined, these assets have a wheat flour milling capacity of 377,300 cwts, and total mill grain storage of 37 million bushels, according to the company's 2018 Grain & Milling Annual.

The work being done to upgrade the Enid, Oklahoma, site, will help ADM meet one its long-standing agricultural goals in the state of increasing food processing abilities in the region, while also benefiting suppliers in the state.
