Superior Ag to Open New $20M Feed Mill June 1

After 18 months, Superior Ag will be officially opening its new $20 million feed mill in Dale, Indiana, on June 1.

Construction on the state-of-the-art site began in January of last year. Once operational, unlike most mills, the Dale facility will produce feed for multiple species of livestock, and will guarantee that all animal nutrition and federal health and safety regulations are met through precise, computerized quality control systems.

The site will have the capacity to produce 3,000 tons of livestock feed per week, along with bagged and bulk feed and supplement products, and will comply with the Food Safety Modernization Act which calls for facilities to have a food safety plan in place that reduces and prevents hazards.

Superior Ag’s current mills located in Jasper and St. Meinrad, Indiana, will be consolidated to the new Dale location.
