Bunge Overhauls Business Structure, Names New Leadership
As part of the company’s Competitiveness Program, Bunge has overhauled its structure, shifting its operations from five operating companies to three regions - North America, South America, and Europe-Asia.
The new platforms -- which are expected to leverage the company’s global scale, increase its focus on customers, and foster growth -- will be supported by a centralized global corporate functions including finance, HR, IT, and legal departments.

New leadership also has been put in place, with Todd Bastean named as president of North America; Pierre Mauger as president of Europe/Asia; and Raul Padilla as president of South America and Sugar & Bioenergy.
The global heads of Agribusiness, Food & Ingredients and Sugar and Bioenergy will be responsible for setting strategy, value chain maximization, cross regional customer relations, and risk management.
