The Andersons Appoints New Grain Group President
The Andersons has announced that Corbett J. (Corey) Jorgenson will assume the role of president of its Grain Group effective February 1, replacing Neill C. McKinstray, president of both the Grain and Ethanol groups who will be retiring in July.
Mr. Jorgenson brings 20 years of experience in agricultural trading and general management with Cargill Inc., most recently serving as Vice President and Regional Lead for the Americas with Cargill’s Transportation and Logistics unit. Prior to this, Mr. Jorgenson was Commercial Lead and Vice President and then Senior Vice President for Cargill AgHorizons, United States, which encompasses a grain segment, a retail seed, fertilizer, and crop protection segment, and a risk management and advisory service.
Mr. Jorgenson has a bachelor’s degree in economics with an emphasis in finance from Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota and completed Harvard Business School’s Asia Agribusiness Executive Education Series conducted in Shanghai, China. Throughout his career he has held various general management and trading positions in the grain and oilseed industry in Kansas, Georgia, North Carolina, and China.
Mr. McKinstray will remain as President of the Ethanol Group and will provide support for the transition of the Grain Group until he retires in July.
