Greenshelds Agri and Agricultural Management Haddington to Merge

Greenshields Agri and Agricultural Management Haddington (AMH), two of Scotland’s key grain and farm management agribusinesses, have agreed to merge in a deal that will form one of the largest agricultural companies in the UK’s northern grain belt.

The new entity will farm over 7,000 acres of farmland spreading between Edinburgh and Newcastle and will have over 18,000 metric tons of grain storage, two grain driers, and weighbridges. Founded in 2010, Greenshields farms over 4,000 acres, owning 2,800 acres of this total, and AMH, founded in 1990, will contribute its 3,000 farmed acres to the new entity.

Both the Greenshields and AMH brands will remain in place and the existing management teams and employees will remain in their roles.
