Legend Seeds and Sevita International Partner to Expand in the U.S. and Canada

Food grade soybean supplier, processor and exporter, Legend Seeds, is partnering with Sevita International to expand their seed products through eastern Canada and the U.S.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sevita will market and distribute Legend Seeds’ corn hybrids and trait technologies under its PROSeeds business in Quebec, Ontario, and Atlantic Canada, while Legend Seeds will market and distribute Sevita’s food-grade soybean varieties in the U.S. under the brand, Legend Seeds. In addition, Legend will market PROSeed’s ‘Genuity’ soybeans across western Canada.

Legend Seeds was the best fit culturally and product-wise,” said Bob Hart, president of Sevita International. “They have many excellent corn hybrids that are well-suited for the eastern Canadian corn market, and our soybeans are suited for the upper Midwest states they serve.”
