Former Pilgrim’s Pride CFO Moves to Scoular

Former executive vice president and CFO of Pilgrim’s Pride Corp., Richard A. Cogdill, has been named as the CFO if the Scoular Company. Cogdill spent 18 years with Pilgrim’s Pride, the largest chicken producer in the U.S., in roles that included secretary, treasurer and CFO. He now joins a company that provides supply chain solutions for users and suppliers of grain, feed ingredients and food ingredients.

“Rick brings Scoular a wealth of executive financial leadership experience in a number of areas, including business acquisitions, capital market transactions, and corporate structure,” said Chuck Elsea, CEO of the Scoular Company. “We are pleased to have Rick bring his extensive capabilities to our growing company and further position Scoular for global growth in response to the expanding needs of our grain, feed ingredient, and food ingredient customers.”
